Abstract/Summary:
ObjectiveThis study by observing the contrast intradermal thumbtack needle combined with gabapentin therapy postherpetic neuralgia and Placebo thumbtack needle combined with Gabapentin therapy the clinical curative effect of postherpetic neuralgia, explore its efficacy and safety, for intradermal thumbtack needle in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia of clinical application to provide high quality research evidence.MethodA total of 70 clinical subjects recruited from advertisements and outpatient clinics were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table: experimental group(intradermal thumbtack needle combined with gabapentin group)and control group(Placebo thumbtack needle combined with gabapentin group),with 30 subjects in each group. The subjects were treated for 1 month(6 times of treatment per 4 days, one day apart, one month as a course). The clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the difference between the Visual analogue scale(VAS)pain score before and after treatment, with clinical efficacy as the main index.Using VAS score and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)sleep score as secondary indexes, the effectiveness, compliance and safety of subjects were evaluated and analyzed before and after treatment.Result1.The age,sex and disease course baseline of subjects in the experimental group and the control group were the same(P > 0.05),showing no statistical difference and comparable.2.(1)Main indicators:1)There were 30 patients in the experimental group, including 20 cases of marked effect,8 cases of effective and 2 cases of ineffective, with a total effective rate of 93.33%.2)There were 30 patients in the control group, including 14 cases of marked effect,6cases of effective and 10 cases of ineffective. The total effective rate was 66.66%.3)Comparison of total effective rate and curative effect between the two groups,P < 0.05,showed statistical differences.(2)Results of secondary indicators1)VAS pain score:(1)Comparison of the experimental group before and after treatment,P < 0.05.Comparison of control group before and after treatment,P < 0.05.(2)Comparison between experimental group and control group before and after treatment,P>0.05.All showed statistical differences.(3)The difference between the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment,P<0.05.2)PSQI sleep score:(1)Comparison of the experimental group before and after treatment,P < 0.05.Comparison of control group before and after treatment,P < 0.05.(2)The total score of PSQI between the experimental group and the control group,P < 0.05.All showed statistical differences.(3)There were statistically significant differences in sleep quality, sleep time, sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep disorder between the two groups in PSQI.There was no statistical difference in daytime dysfunction and hypnotic drugs(P > 0.05).(3)Safety: The number of adverse reactions occurred in the experimental group was 2,and the incidence of adverse events was 5%;the number of adverse reactions occurred in the control group was 0,and the incidence of adverse events was 0%.Compared with the control group, the incidence of adverse events in experimental group,P > 0.05,no statistical difference.Conclusion1.Intradermal thumbtack needle combined with gabapentin is effective in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.2.Placebo thumbtack needle combined with gabapentin is effective in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.3.The treatment of postherpetic neuralgia by intradermal thumbtack needle combined with gabapentin is superior to that by Placebo thumbtack needle combined with pseudopentin.4.Intradermal thumbtack needle is safe and effective in the adjuvant treatment of postherpetic neuralgia, and can effectively reduce the pain degree of patients and improve their sleep status.
