Objective: to explore the effect of repeated facilitation therapy combined with“Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture on upper extremity motor function in stroke patients. Methods: This study used experimental methods to select 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria and were randomly divided into three groups: acupuncture group,RFE group, and combination group, with 20 patients in each group. All three groups of patients were given basic treatment and routine rehabilitation treatment. On this basis, the acupuncture group was treated with the "Awakening Brain and Opening Origins" acupuncture method, with acupuncture once a day and needle retention for 40 minutes each time; The RFE group was treated with repeated facilitation therapy, consisting of 4-6 modes per session, with 50-100 motor exercises per mode for 40 minutes each time. The treatment was conducted once a day from Monday to Friday; The joint group was given the "Xingnao Kaiqiao" acupuncture method combined with RFE therapy, with each treatment lasting 40 minutes. The "Xingnao Kaiqiao" acupuncture method was arranged for 20 minutes, and repeated facilitation therapy was performed for 20 minutes, once a day,and 5 times a week. The experimental intervention process lasted for 4 weeks,5 times a week, from Monday to Friday. Results: 1.There was no significant difference in baseline data,FMA,MAS,and MBI data among the three groups of patients before treatment, but there was a significant difference in FMA,MAS,and MBI score data after treatment.2.Intragroup comparison: After treatment, the FMA,MAS,and MBI scores of the three groups of patients were better than before treatment, and the data showed significant differences.3.Inter group comparison: FMA score: There was no significant difference in data between the acupuncture group and the RFE group. There were significant differences in data between the acupuncture group and the combination group,as well as between the RFE group and the combination group, indicating that the combination group had better improvement in upper limb motor function than the acupuncture group and the RFE group. There was no significant difference in therapeutic effect between the acupuncture group and the RFE group in improving upper limb motor function.MAS comparison: There was a significant difference in data between the acupuncture group and the RFE group,as well as between the RFE group and the combination group. There was no significant difference in data between the acupuncture group and the combination group, indicating that there was no significant difference in the improvement of upper limb muscle spasms between the combination group and the acupuncture group, and the treatment effect of the two groups was better than that of the RFE group.MBI score: There was no significant difference in data between the acupuncture group and the RFE group, but there was a significant difference in data between the acupuncture group and the combination group,as well as between the RFE group and the combination group. This indicates that the improvement of daily living ability in the combination group is better than that in the acupuncture group and the RFE group, and there is no significant difference in the effect of acupuncture group and the RFE group on patients’ daily living ability. Conclusion: RFE therapy combined with“Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture can effectively improve the motor function of upper limbs, improve muscle tone, relieve muscle spasm and improve the ability of daily life in the convalescent stage of stroke patients,it is recommended to use upper limb rehabilitation training for stroke patients in convalescent stage.
