| China is about to enter a deeply ageing society with an increasing proportion of elderly people, and the problem of elderly patients having difficulties in accessing medical services is becoming more and more prominent. In order to improve the efficiency of medical treatment and alleviate the problem of strained medical resources, major hospitals have started to introduce self-service equipment, such as self-service registration machines and self-service bill payment machines. However, for the elderly, the existing self-service equipment has a high learning threshold and is difficult to operate, resulting in poor experience and inefficiency.Based on this, this paper aims to study and design a hospital self-service terminal and interaction interface suitable for elderly users from the perspective of ageing appropriateness and intuitive interaction theory.Firstly,it compares the current situation of human-machine interaction research and ageing-friendly research of self-service terminals at home and abroad, and explores the feasible path of ageing-friendly design and intuitionistic theory, and outputs a "model of ageing-friendly design based on intuitionistic interaction theory" to lay the theoretical foundation for the later paper.Secondly, through research,we explore the medical needs and intuitive life experiences of elderly users, and take the "user needs" and "life experiences" as the important design basis for the hospital self-service terminals.Afterwards, the design of the hardware appearance and software interface of the hospital self-service terminal for the elderly is analyzed based on theories of ergonomics and geriatric psychology, and the design strategies and principles of the hospital self-service terminal for the elderly are proposed. Finally, the design of the hardware and software of the hospital elderly self-service terminals is combined with the results of the previous study, and an intuitive satisfaction assessment is carried out through a high-fidelity model, resulting in further suggestions for improvement. The evaluation revealed that the optimized design of the hospital self-service terminal is more in line with the intuitive habits of elderly users, which not only effectively improves the efficiency of elderly users in seeking medical treatment, but also provides support for other research on the design of elderly interactive products. It makes a certain contribution to the construction of age-appropriate healthcare systems. |
