evaluation is an important link to improve the reception of literary works.With the emergence of new media,the introduction of new elements and the construction of new platforms,mo Yan’s works have further enriched the audience,and the space for readers to receive them has constantly generated new links and new features.The novel Frog was first published in Harvest magazine,No.6,2009,and was published by Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House in December.Since its publication,the novel has attracted a lot of attention for its accurate handling of sensitive subjects,tracing and reappearance of social events and the halo bonus of literary awards.From the upgrading of the media to the change of social hot spots,from the progress of ideas to the change of national policies,all these will introduce new elements for literary reception,and carry out integration and innovation on the basis of the original text and readers’ experience,so as to change the face of literary reception.The hot topics caused by a work are the core circle of its literary reception field,and other reception features are all around these hot topics.Therefore,understanding hot topics is actually a shortcut to outline the reception of literary works.This paper takes care of the focal points in the process of the reception of Frog,dissects the parts hotly discussed by readers,and Outlines the complete face of the reception of Frog by point and surface,radiating outwards.The first chapter analyzes and studies the basic reception of Frog.Under the new media environment,the dissemination and acceptance of Frog has new features.Knowledge interactive community allows readers to fully communicate,forming "social reading" that can influence the public acceptance of works;Audio reading platform liberates reading from the eyes,and text content is further cut,meeting people’s needs of "fragmented reading" in fast-paced life.At present,the leading style of "cute" drama in addition to exploring the acceptance of drama form.The fifth chapter summarizes the readers’ understanding of the spiritual theme of the novel.Confession is the spiritual theme of the novel.The word "confession" has undergone a transformation from a Buddhist term to a life term,and then to a literary criticism term."Confession" is an important annotation of Frog with rich connotation.Readers have different understandings of "confession" in Frog.The author sorted out two kinds of classification standards of "confession" for readers:one is to distinguish the type of confession by"character";the other is to distinguish the type of confession by nature.The former is based on readers’ intuitive feeling of social roles;the latter is based on readers’ deep understanding of cultural background.By discussing readers’ understanding of the classification criteria of confession,this paper will sort out readers’ acceptance of the spiritual connotation of the work.In a word,this paper extracts four hot topics of literary media,character image,literary genre and text theme respectively to show readers’ reception of Frog.It is hoped that on the basis of full investigation,analysis and collation,the basic structure of the dissemination and acceptance of Frog can be preliminarily established.
