| In the context of the rapid development of network information technology,online Chinese language teaching has gradually become a new trend in Chinese language teaching.Through the continuous efforts of online Chinese language teachers and the professional guidance of international Chinese language experts,remarkable achievements have been made in online Chinese language teaching.However,while online teaching brings convenience,it also comes with a series of problems.Through reading literature and communicating with frontline Chinese language teachers,the author found that the main problems in online Chinese language teaching currently are teachers’ one-sided understanding of students,difficulty in teacher-student interaction,and dull classroom atmosphere.When searching for solutions to such problems,it was found that the theory of multiple intelligences proposed by American psychologist Gardner focuses on individual students,advocating for a comprehensive and multi perspective understanding of students,and cultivating individuals with all-round development.Stimulating students’ interest in learning from multiple perspectives provides the possibility to solve the problems existing in online Chinese language teaching.This article first reviews relevant literature to understand the current research status of related concepts;Secondly,the process of proposing the theory of multiple intelligences,the structure,characteristics,and principles of use of the theory of multiple intelligences were discussed.Subsequently,the rationality of applying the theory of multiple intelligences to online primary Chinese comprehensive courses was analyzed from the perspectives of online teaching,comprehensive courses,elementary Chinese level students,and the current situation of online Chinese teaching.A series of teaching activities designed based on the theory of multiple intelligences were provided for reference.On this basis,a pre class analysis was conducted on the teaching objects,content,and objectives of this teaching design.Based on these teaching elements,classroom teaching activities were designed and carried out for students.After the teaching was completed,a knowledge test was conducted on the students and their feedback on the course was collected.It was found that the teaching activities designed based on the theory of multiple intelligences are more efficient,popular with students,and can better stimulate their enthusiasm.Finally,based on the feedback from students and the teacher’s experience in class,a reflection was conducted to summarize that this teaching is student-centered and focuses on the development of students’ intelligence;Diversified teaching activities activate the classroom atmosphere and promote interaction;The advantages of rich online teaching resources;And the implementation of teaching activities is not flexible enough;Diverse teaching forms may have negative impacts;Insufficient depth of diversified evaluation;The lack of continuous improvement in teachers’ comprehensive abilities.Based on the current shortcomings,suggestions have been put forward to better apply the theory of multiple intelligences to online elementary Chinese comprehensive courses: student-centered,improving teaching flexibility;Reasonably reward and leverage the positive role of diverse activities;Deeply implement the diversified evaluation concept and promote the harmonious development of intelligence;Chinese language teachers continuously improve their comprehensive abilities. |
