The erhu music "Looking at Chang ’an",composed by Zhai Zhirong in 2002,is a piece of music in the local style of Shaanxi province.The melody of the whole music is touching,and it is a very representative piece of the composer’s numerous works.It tells the story of the thousand-year-old ancient capital-Chang ’an from ancient times to the present with musical language.Now,with its unique charm and integration with The Times,it has demonstrated its majestic and profound potential and inspired people’s infinite attachment and affection for it.The appearance of this music promoted the development of Shaanxi’s artistic creation.Taking the dulcimer accompaniment version of the erhu solo music "Looking at Chang’an" by Zhai Zhirong as an example,the author divided it into three chapters and analyzed it respectively.The first chapter is the author’s creative experience,achievements and other aspects of the discussion;The second chapter is composed of three parts: the creation background,musical structure and creation characteristics of "Looking at Chang ’an".The third chapter discusses the performance treatment,musical style characteristics,performance experience and spiritual implication of "Looking at Chang ’an".From the perspective of erhu players and learners,it analyzes the characteristics of the music style from the aspects of chords and glissando.Finally,from the perspective of erhu players and learners,it tries to figure out the musical effect and thought connotation that the composer wants to express,so as to provide suggestions and help for future Erhu learners and lovers who want to learn this work.
