| As the essential part of English teaching,writing teaching plays an important role in cultivating students’ English subject key competencies.And the integration of teaching,learning and assessment advocated by the new curriculum standards has important guiding significance for writing teaching.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out research on the integration of teaching,learning and assessment in senior high school English writing teaching under the background of English key competencies,so as to improve the teaching effect of senior high school English writing teaching.The present research takes the teachers and students of senior one from Nanning ASEAN high school as the research subjects,and uses the questionnaire,classroom observation and interview trying to answer the following questions based on Backward Teaching Design Theory,Effective Teaching Theory and Constructivist Theory:(1)How is the consistency of learning-teaching,teaching-assessment,and assessment-learning in current senior high school English writing teaching?(2)How is the correspondence between classroom activities,assessment activities and teaching objectives in English writing classroom teaching of senior high school?(3)What are the factors affecting the implementation of integrating teaching,learning and assessment in senior high school English writing teaching?By analyzing the data collected,major findings can be summarized as follows.(1)In current senior high school English writing teaching,there is no strong consistency between learning and teaching in writing classes;there is relatively great consistency between teaching and assessment in most of the writing lessons;there is no strict consistency between assessment and learning.(2)In English writing classroom teaching of senior high school,there is close correspondence between the classroom activities and teaching objectives in most of the writing classes;while most of the writing classes lack the correspondence between assessment activities and teaching objectives.(3)The main factors affecting the implementation of the integration of teaching,learning and assessment are teachers’ insufficient understanding of the integration of teaching,learning and assessment,teachers’ relatively weak awareness of teaching objectives,single assessment mode and lack of correspondence between assessment and teaching objectives,and limited teaching time.The following suggestions are put forward to solve the problems existing in practicing the integration of teaching,learning and assessment in English writing teaching.(1)Teachers should construct teacher-student interaction and student-student interaction actively.(2)Teachers need to design assessment activities based on the teaching objectives.(3)Teachers should strengthen the awareness of teaching objectives and design teaching objectives scientifically.(4)Teachers’ assessment literacy should be improved in various ways. |
