With the advent of the era of urban stock development, the demand for high-quality living among citizens living in cities is becoming increasingly strong, and urban decision-makers are gradually turning to paying attention to citizens’ urban emotional experiences and feedback. When emotional perception is combined with urban geographic space, the generated sense of happiness, identity,or satisfaction can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of urban development.By analyzing emotional space,we can gain a deeper understanding of citizens’ attitudes towards urban development and clarify social contradictions and development deficiencies in urban development.Based on this, exploring the connection between emotional space and urban elements in Nanning can alleviate the sharp contradiction, help solve the dilemma of uneven urban development, and provide support and thinking for the optimization of national land space. This article proposes to use activity flow maps and emotion maps as concrete analysis ideas for emotional space.Using Weibo text data,POI data, land use data, etc.,the "ROST CM6+BERT model" dual combination model is used to analyze the emotions of Weibo text;Visualize emotional space through spatial connectivity, analyze its spatial structural features, differentiation features, and identify emotional centers. Finally, analyze the correlation between emotional spatial characteristics and urban influencing factors, and further explore the urban factors and degree of influence that affect emotional space by analyzing the distribution characteristics of different dimensions of emotional space. The research results show that:(1)Nanning’s emotional perception of the city is mainly positive emotions, but the median emotional value is low,and the overall emotional state is stable. After sorting and statistical analysis, the situation in Nanning is mainly characterized by positive emotions, accounting for 41.51%.The perception of the city shows a distribution pattern of "high concentration in the center and scattered in the periphery",with the experience perception of the New Chaoyang Plaza Commercial Center,Nanhu Jinhu Leisure Center, and Hangyang International Vientiane City Commercial and Business Center being the highest and most active; In the eastern part of Nanning urban area, there is a lack of urban experience perception, and the experience perception of the surrounding areas needs to be improved. This further reveals the imbalance of urban vitality.(2)The local perception distribution of emotional space in Nanning shows a circular structure, with the degree of agglomeration gradually weakening from the inside out.Different dimensions of emotional space often exhibit a spatial structure of "zone+circle+point".Through multidimensional emotional spatial autocorrelation analysis,we further deepened our understanding of the spatial distribution characteristics and heterogeneity of emotions in Nanning, revealing the internal correlation and differences in perception under different emotional dimensions.(3)The factors that affect emotional spatial differentiation are complex and diverse, with the most explanatory power being the vitality of living facilities and services.By combining the geographical exploration results of emotional spatial differentiation in Nanning with the uneven distribution of urban spatial elements,it was found that living facilities have a strong impact on differentiation. This can further explore the negative impact of urban development on the suppression of happiness, explore the path of people-oriented high-quality life charm land space optimization, and provide directional guidance for urban spatial optimization and suggestions for urban decision-making.
