| In recent years,earth-shaking changes in all aspects have taken place in China.The nation’s national strength has significantly increased,thanks to which the country’s international status and influence have also been enhanced.As the saying goes,keep your eyes and ears open.The development of a country is just the same.News,as the most comprehensive and immediate information carrier,is an object that people pay more and more attention to.From August 5th to September 28th,2022,the author completed a translation practice on China Daily website for nearly two months,and based on that,the translation report was completed.In practice,the texts translated by the author is mainly economic and social news texts,which are typically informative texts.Informative text focuses on the transmission of information,the language of which is rigorous and logical.Therefore,the core translation principle of these texts is to break through the boundary of language and transmit information.Nord advocates taking the interpersonal relationship in the translation process into consideration,and the translation-oriented text analysis model analyzes various factors in translation as a communicative activity from both extratextual and intratextual aspects.The author uses Nord’s text analysis model as a guide to analyze the extratextual and intratextual factors of the texts.Through the analysis,the characteristics,purposes and functions of the source text are summarized,and corresponding translation strategies and methods are proposed for specific translation problems.The content of news changes with each passing day,and the translation of text is also different from person to person.Through the translation practice,the author can practice the translation-oriented text analysis model,and use various translation methods and skills in the process to improve personal translation level and ideological consciousness.In addition,this translation practice can provide reference cases for the translation of similar topics. |
