| Academics have been studying the ideal personality concept of philosophers for a long time.According to the handed down literature and classics,a large number of scholars have put forward their own opinions and propositions,and generally regard saints as synonymous with ideal personality.Historically,the academic research on the ideal personality in Taoist thought has mainly focused on the pre-Qin period or Huang-Lao Taoism of governing the country in the early Han Dynasty,but little research has been done on the characteristics of the ideal personality in the transitional stage before Taoism,which changed from Huang-Lao theory to Huang-Lao sect.This paper focuses on Huang-Lao sect,which was influenced by foreign Buddhism and local immortal thought during the Han Dynasty,and grasps the whole process of the emergence,development and evolution of Taoist ideal personality during the Han Dynasty,and clarifies the characteristics of the transformation from saints to immortals,and immortals become new ideal personality.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The foreword part mainly explains the theoretical background of Taoist ideal personality,combs the current research status of internal and external scholars,and has a preliminary grasp of the concept definition of Huang-Lao Taoism,Huang-Lao sect and ideal personality;The first part discusses the basic concept of sage as an ideal personality,and understands the origin of sage and the characteristics of the ideal personality of early Taoism.The sage in the theory of royal officials is a monarch with supreme virtue,good governance and foresight,the sage in Lao Tzu’s thought and Chuang Tzu’s Taoism in the pre-Qin period is a body Taoist who is naturally idle and carefree,and the Huang-Lao Taoism has developed from a monarch who tried to judge the name of punishment to a ruler who did nothing in the early Han Dynasty and was a promising minister in the Huang-Lao Taoism period;The second part focuses on the development background of Huang-Lao Taoism to Huang-Lao sect,discusses it from both aspects,and analyzes the reasons for the evolution of Taoist ideal personality between the Han Dynasty and the Han Dynasty.Under the policy of "ousting a hundred schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone",Confucianism became the official political thought,Huang-Lao Taoism flowed to the people,combined with the folk ideas of alchemist to form Huang-Lao sect,and the personal preference of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty for becoming an immortal,which promoted the development of Huang-Lao sect;The third part analyzes the ideal personality characteristics of immortalization of saints in Huang-Lao sect during the Han Dynasty from the perspectives of immortalization of saints and immortalization of people;Finally,it summarizes the characteristics of the development and evolution of Taoist ideal personality in the Han Dynasty,and discusses the influence of the ideal personality in the Han Dynasty on Taoist thought in later generations. |
