Red culture is an inestimable treasure,carrying the original intention and mission of the Communist Party of China to lead the people to open up a great road and achieve great achievements.Inheriting and learning red culture is the mission of every generation of children.Reading red theme picture books in line with children’s aesthetic taste aims to let children understand red culture from an early age and sow the seeds of patriotism in their hearts.The important stage of children’s intellectual growth and development is from three to six years old.At this stage,children’s thirst for knowledge and desire to explore are often strong,and they are not much interested in boring text knowledge,but have strong sensitivity to pictures.Therefore,picture books can be used to develop children’s brain power and intelligence in this period,enhance innovative thinking,and increase children’s aesthetic ability.Adding interactivity to children’s picture books is to enable children to experience the fun of reading through the way of looking at pictures when they meet the picture books.On the other hand,it can further explore the interactive expression ways and methods of children’s picture books at the plot level,guide readers to change from game interaction to role substitution,understand the connotation of the story,and provide diversified ways for the design of picture books.Based on Jiangxi’s rich red cultural resources,this thesis adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and field research,and from the perspective of different witnesses,to create a red children’s picture book with the themes of Nanchang Uprising,Jinggangshan Union,the founding of the Soviet Republic of China,and the miners’ strike on Anyuan Road,referred to as "Three cradles and one Source".Let children have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of red culture,let parents and teachers integrate red education with theme picture books,through reading,watching,speaking and speaking red picture books,make patriotic education start from children,use picture books with pictures and pictures to guide children to understand red culture and learn heroic deeds,inherit red culture and red spirit from generation to generation.
