"The Combination Of Deficiency And Reality"-a Study On The Creation Of Oil Painting Portrait Of "Monologue"

As an important artistic technique that transcends the dichotomy of external visual images,"virtuality and reality" has become an unavoidable art rule for Chinese and western oil painting artists in the process of painting creation.Most excellent works of art are often the results of the clever use of "virtuality and reality".The application of "virtuality and reality" in Western oil painting is mainly focused on the expression of the distance and primary and secondary relationship of visual objects.However,influenced by traditional aesthetic thoughts such as "to express one’s meaning by setting up images" and "to depict god by form",Chinese oil painting "virtuality and reality" is more in the pursuit of the artistic conception of painting that combines the "virtuality" of formal elements with the "reality" of spiritual connotation.Although there are some differences in the understanding and application of "virtuality" in Chinese and Western oil painting art,it is undeniable that "virtuality",as an indispensable part of Chinese and western oil painting language,plays a decisive role in Chinese and Western painting art.Therefore,the analysis and research on the application of "virtual and real" in Chinese and western oil painting portraits will help to further enrich and deepen the language of oil painting.Through a brief analysis of the virtual-real representation in the representative examples of oil painting and the content constructed by the artist’s application of virtual-real artistic techniques,this paper will explain the relevant concepts of the artistic techniques of "virtual-real combination" involved in the creation of oil painting portraits,so as to explore the spiritual connotation and emotional world hidden behind the artist’s painting schema language.From the aspects of brushwork,line,texture,etc.,this paper will explain how to skillfully use the artistic technique of "blending virtuality and reality" in the creation and conception of contemporary oil painting portrait,so as to make the creation theme more prominent,realize the expression means and expression methods with rich connotation of the work,and combine with my own understanding of the creation of oil painting portrait.The artistic technique of "living with reality" is applied in the oil painting series of "Monologue" to show the formal beauty of emptiness and reality in the picture and reflect its spiritual connotation.It breaks through the constraint of the objective of real things,and expresses the artistic form by the way of integrating artistic thinking with real emotions,so as to make the picture full of vitality and spirituality and create imaginative works.This will help the author to improve his personal vision and provide more possibilities for the future creation.
