| This paper explores the relationship between female thought and art among women artists in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in Italy and the circumstances in which the female community lived in society at the time.Female artists took on a new meaning in society,with visual images recording female figures in a variety of roles from powerful rulers to religious saints,and participating in the male-dominated field of art as professional artists.Italian art entered an active period in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries when women artists produced paintings that subverted the normative female model and gave it essential qualities that distinguished it from tradition.Women joined the history of art,and their status and identity was a reshaping of the already established artistic structure.As nature evolves,women artists refract their contradictory and complex emotions into the female aesthetic through the magic of imagination,and the female characters and their authors produce a shift in meaning and impact from a receptive position to a viewing subject.By linking artistic practice with creative art and gender society,a new feminine consciousness is awakened.The content of this paper is divided into four parts: first,it discusses the survival problems and basic rights faced by women in the whole social environment during the Renaissance,interprets the moral standards required of women by society,and the construction of gender images of men and women;second,the identity and growth environment of women artists in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in Italy,from the aspects of family identity,talent,status,moral character,and mentorship of women artists;and second,the identity and growth environment of women artists in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in Italy.The construction of the image of female artists in the society of that time.The career and supply-demand relationship of women’s art,and then explore the thinking of women’s art and power,and their position in art history.Next,the image of women in traditional paintings,the rethinking of artistic themes by female artists,the feminism expressed in the image model,and the identification of female self-identity and the political value of their claims.Finally,the successes of women artists are summarized,the expression of the ego,the self,the critique of stereotypes on behalf of women,and the exploration of the initial awakening of self-awareness,the inner drive and the new feminine virtues possessed by women artists in the Italian region in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. |
