A solo concert refers to a live performance of a series of musical works of a certain scale in front of an audience.It first appeared in the field of "chamber music" of classical music.Different from the grand scene of opera performance,concerts pay more attention to a smaller "indoor" environment,and closer communication between musicians and audiences,internationally known as "Concert",different from "show" in popular music,concerts generally refer to the form of singing in classical music or serious music.Before the record was popular,the solo concert was the main way for the audience to appreciate the singing of classical singers and then continued to this day,which is an important form for people to participate in music and artistic life in modern society,and is also a concentrated embodiment of vocal singers’ singing skills and comprehensive literacy of performing arts,and an important window for the development,progress and popularization of contemporary vocal art in China.By analyzing and sorting out the historical origin,communication value,artistic specifications,and design and practice of solo concert as a performance form,this paper attempts to incorporate solo concert into the academic vision of vocal performing arts,rationally study it,summarize the rules,sort out the characteristics,accumulate experience and understanding,and do some basic work for the research of solo concert singing form.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part is a review of the origin and development of the "solo concert" performance form,as well as the stage art presentation form of the master’s degree solo concert by famous artists and the author.The second part,is the artistic value of the "solo concert" performance form,in which the individual artistic level of the singer is embodied and the concert vocal works are presented in an orderly manner.The third part,"Solo Concert",presents the final artistic specifications,including the use of vocal technique and the combination of words and singing,as well as the appropriate shaping of stage etiquette.Part IV,Structural Design and Performance Practice of Solo Concerts.The design of the concert should always be based on the established theme,and the integrity of the work should be consistent with the overall logic of the concert.In this paper,the author discusses the origins and development of the "vocal solo concert",as well as the stage art presentations of famous artists and the author’s own graduate solo concert.This essay starts with the clue that the emergence of the art form "solo concert" has opened the road of vocal art development in China,and then takes the existence value of the solo concert performance form as the main line of the whole content,in which the ordering of vocal works in the solo concert,the ideas of the singer in the solo concert stage performance,and the comprehensive performance of the stage art level can reflect the artistic value of the existence of the concert performance form in many aspects.As a vocal learner,vocal stage skills and performance are essential for holding concerts.Additionally,the arrangement of works is closely related to the maturity of vocal stage skills.The more difficult the arrangement of works,the higher the degree of testing of vocal stage skills.At the end of this paper,the author demonstrates her understanding of solo concerts through the designing of structure of her solo master’s recital,and appropriately applies her understanding to her solo master’s recital and to future concerts.Through "diversification" positioning and flexible arrangement of each concert,the author can broaden her own vocal art path and provide various references for other latecomers to enrich their concerts. |
