The establishment of character relationships that are in line with the theme and emotions of drama is the central link in drama creation,and the construction of character relationships is crucial for the expression of drama themes and emotions.This article aims to study the role of constructing character relationships in theatrical expression.Taking the children’s drama Dance for You as the research object,it analyzes how to set up primary and secondary characters and establish reasonable character relationships during script creation,thereby helping to unfold the plot and express ideas in the drama;The drama promotes the development and evolution of the plot through changes in character relationships,thus generating themes of youth and growth,further deepening the theme’s connotation;In a relatively concentrated theatrical space and time,multiple character relationships are intertwined and entangled in a specified context,showcasing the psychological states of different characters and deriving psychological spaces to achieve the effect of strengthening theatrical expression.This paper will discuss the construction of character relationships in the children’s drama Dance for You from the following three aspects.In the introduction section,introduce the research background,significance,current research status,and research content of character relationships in drama;Chapter 1 analyzes the character setting and relationship in the drama,taking into account the role of the primary and secondary characters and the establishment of character relationships in the theme and emotional expression of the drama;Chapter 2 analyzes the driving effect of the changes in character relationships in the drama on the plot,and generates themes of youth and growth through the changes in character relationships,deepening the theme’s connotation;Chapter 3,based on the concentration of time and space in drama,analyzes how the children’s drama Dance for You focuses the story in a specified context and strengthens the theme and emotional expression of the drama. |
