| Since the emergence of ready-made art in the early 20 th century,contemporary art has been filled with artists’ ideas and perspectives on ready-made art.Among them are a large number of historical objects that artists have borrowed to convey their own concepts to the audience,making it a way of expression that is close to real life.This article discusses from four chapters.The first chapter explains what ready-mades are and their relationship with old objects.Appropriation,structural reorganization and remodeling are used to analyze works at three levels,trying to summarize the different thoughts and emotional connotations expressed by contemporary sculptors using different creative methods.The third chapter analyzes and studies the art works related to old objects from the three aspects of shape,traces,and spiritual connotation,and interprets the "shape" from the shape,structure,and texture of old objects;interprets from the traces of aging,damage,and use of old objects "Object image";finally,the "mental image" is explained from the memories and feelings caused by the old objects.Discuss the unique value of old objects and how to arouse audience’s emotional and memory resonance.The last chapter is mainly to explain the authors personal understanding and application of old objects,trying to use the two material languages of wax and old objects to convey the authors concept,that is,to explore the appearance of things by casting old objects into candles.Superficial phenomena and deep essences reveal the endless opposition and unity behind elimination and retention. |
