With the highly digitalized network environment and the diversified development of media,all kinds of information resources are labeled as "diversified" and "fragmented".People gradually get used to receiving and exporting all kinds of information,such as short videos,micro films and micro-documentaries,anytime and anywhere,by reading short video types on more convenient mobile terminals.Moreover,various documentary programs created in micro form by numerous we-media platforms and video websites have also laid a foundation for the update and optimization of micro-documentaries.Micro-documentary,a unique new audio-visual art,not only extends the connotation of traditional documentary,but also enriches the ecological environment of documentary images.At the same time,the right to speak of video production is properly lowered,so that everyone has the possibility to become a creator.However,how to optimize the standardized creation of micro-documentary,which can deeply reflect the ideological spirit in real life,realize the value of image ontology and other related issues has become the top priority of micro-documentary to explore the path of sustainable development.Supported by Hitchcock’s bomb theory and acceptance theory,this thesis uses literature research method,case analysis method and comparative research method to study how to propose specific story-oriented methods in the creation of micro-documentaries by taking graduation works Inheritance and Persistence and excellent domestic micro-records as cases.Therefore,in the first part,the differences in story-based creation between traditional documentary and micro-documentary should be analyzed according to the development status of documentary and the characteristics of The Times,so as to avoid confusion and ambiguity in the research process of the two.At the same time,story-based creation needs to be integrated into narrative performance,so the research on differences should be explored around perspective,rhythm and language.In the second part,while differences exist,through the specific analysis of excellent cases such as Breakfast in China and If National Treasure Could Talk,the positive effect of integrating storytelling skills into the creation of micro-documentary is obtained,which proves that the embedding of storytelling methods in micro-documentary is feasible and necessary.In the third part,by enumerating cases for analysis and summary,from the perspectives of suspense,interview,perspective,plot and music,it proposes the story-oriented presentation methods that can be applied to the creation of micro-documentary.Finally,the thesis draws a conclusion: micro-documentary can not only perform the real performance of non-fiction events in a relatively short space,but also achieve the relative balance between authenticity and story through the embedding of story-based methods,enhance its own artistic value,and be more popular with audiences.
