| The self-documentary film is the most personal and life-like expression in the documentary system,and its daily life narrative is a personal perspective on history and reality.The narratives in self-documentaries are narratives of daily life,and this thesis uses the literature of daily life narratives to guide the study of the storytelling characteristics and discourse expression of private documentaries,and to guide the creation of the graduation work "A Room of One’s Own".This thesis is divided into four chapters,including an introduction in the first chapter,which provides an overview of the background,significance,ideas,methods,and concepts of the study.In the second chapter,we analyze the storytelling level of self-documentary film narratives and find that self-documentary film tend to use personal spiritual and material space as the background,and use non-patterned plots to create "psychological" characters.Secondly,in the third chapter,the analysis of the discourse level reveals that self-documentary film usually use sound and images as narrative carriers to portray life,often using first-person internal or external perspectives to present characters’ perceptions,controlling the rhythm of the narrative through the arrangement of special time,historical events and time patterns,and shaping the beauty of daily life through different spatial audiovisual expressions.Finally,in the fourth chapter,we analyze the contemporary value of private documentary narratives of daily life in terms of private documentary life expression,emotional expression and public expression,and conclude that self-documentary films present multiple life scenes,enlighten audiences,and reflect individual encounters to deeper social meaning.Self-documentary film narratives of daily life use the way of intervening in the world and expressing the world to present the real state of life of individuals,finding a balance between the self and the public,which is the development trend of modern personal images. |
