The Performance And Practice Of The Surreal Space In The Contemporary Fine Brush Painting

Since the middle of the 19 th century,"Western learning has spread to the east",the West has increasingly increasing influence on ancient China in politics,economy,culture and other aspects,as is the same in art.After the baptism of the May 4th Movement,various schools of European painting poured in,which promoted the tremendous innovation of Chinese modern and contemporary art in the last century.Among them,the influence of surrealist painting on the contemporary fine brush painting after the 1980 s is an artistic phenomenon that cannot be ignored.This paper takes the western surrealist painting thought as the core,combined with the analysis of the surreal space existing in traditional Chinese painting,and discusses the influence of the concept of surreal painting on contemporary fine brush painting(i.e.from the 1980 s to now).Its purpose is to think about the current artistic creation,especially the development law of fine painting creation,how to not stick to the traditional Chinese painting,and at the same time to absorb other art form language and thinking concepts to enrich the form and connotation of fine painting,so as to seek more possibilities for the development of contemporary fine painting.This paper is divided into three chapters to describe the performance and practice of western surrealist painting space in contemporary fine brushwork.The first chapter is divided into three sections to discuss the concept formation of "surreal space" and the surreal space in Western painting and Chinese painting;the "surreal space" in contemporary fine brushwork is discussed from four different perspectives;the third chapter is divided into three sections to describe the creation of "surreal space".
