With the modernisation of cities, the traditional commercial spaces in historic districts are gradually losing their competitiveness with modern commercial models. However, the commercial spaces in the historic districts carry the characteristics of cultural heritage, locality and landscape features, while maintaining the function of commercial exchange and the daily life of the residents, and the conservation and renewal of commercial spaces are of great significance to the development and sustainability of the historic districts. This paper takes the historic and cultural district of Barkhor in Lhasa as the research object, through the commercial POI data crawled by phtyon, the city heat map provided by Baidu map open source platform, the vector road data and planning information provided by Beijing University geographic data platform and field research data, etc.,using Phtyon,Depthmap,Arc GIS,Qgis,SPSS,and By using the software such as Phtyon,Depthmap,Arc GIS,Qgis,SPSS,Excel, etc.,the correlation between the aggregation degree of commercial business and roads in the Barkhor historical and cultural district is analyzed from the macro-meso-micro perspectives through the axis analysis method in the spatial syntax method, the kernel density estimation method in the GIS,and the correlation analysis method in the data processing platform;the behavior patterns of street space users are This paper presents the analysis of pedestrian aggregation, spatial vitality and spatial morphology from a macro-mesomicro perspective, and proposes micro-regeneration strategies and spatial optimisation solutions for the neighbourhood. The main findings are as follows:Road integration is high in the historic district of Lhasa, but the correlation with commercial agglomeration is weak, and it is easy to form scattered commercial agglomerations;in the Barkhor historical and cultural district, road integration is positively correlated with commercial agglomeration, and commercial agglomeration spreads outwards with Barkhor Street as the core;commercial buildings in the micro-scale of Barkhor Street are distributed around the Dazhao Monastery, and the commercial mode is mainly "configurative",with walking being the main mode of travel;the aggregation of pedestrian flow and The spatial vitality of the street differs between labour days and holidays, with more dramatic changes and longer durations on holidays;Dajok Monastery Square is the central node of Barkhor Street, with a high degree of integration,The design of the neighbourhood can be based on four aspects: public space, commercial space, road nodes and street image.
