At present,the separation of rice blanket seedlings from plastic floppy disks in China’s rice production and planting process still requires a large amount of manual labor.To achieve mechanization and solve the problems of high production costs and high labor intensity in the separation process.Based on the analysis and research of domestic and foreign separation machinery and seedling cultivation machinery,and combined with relevant agronomic requirements,a rice blanket seedling and plastic floppy disk separation machine was designed.The main research content is as follows:(1)In this paper,the characteristics of Longjing 31 rice blanket seedling and plastic floppy disk in the period of three leaves and one heart were measured,and the length,width,height,wall thickness,mass and breaking force of the plastic seedling disk were obtained.The height of rice blanket seedlings,stem diameter,thickness of clamping part,humidity,quality,and seedling bearing pressure provide theoretical basis for the subsequent design of rice blanket seedling separator.(2)Design the overall structure of the rice soft disk blanket seedling separator,determine the basic parameters of the conveying mechanism,separation mechanism,support seedling mechanism,and collection seedling mechanism.Conduct theoretical analysis of the conveying stage,separation stage,and support seedling stage during the separation process,and use Solid Works three-dimensional modeling software to establish a model of the rice soft disk blanket seedling separator.Through theoretical analysis,it is concluded that the separation effect is mainly related to the separation speed,the clearance between the seedling supporting hands of the seedling supporting mechanism,the initial position of the separation claw of the separation mechanism and the included angle of the conveying mechanism.Combined with the theoretical analysis results,the separation mechanism and the seedling supporting mechanism are statics analyzed by using the ANSYS finite element analysis software to determine the rationality of their structures.And the ANSYS finite element analysis software was used to analyze the state of rice blanket seedlings and their substrates during the operation of the rice soft disk blanket seedling separator,determine the reliability of the operation process,and complete the trial production of the rice soft disk blanket seedling separator prototype.(3)Taking the separation speed,the holding clearance of the seedling support hand of the seedling support mechanism and the angle between the initial position of the separation claw of the separation mechanism and the conveying mechanism as the test factors,and taking the rate of separation of the rice floppy blanket seedlings,the rate of damage to the stems and leaves of the blanket seedlings and the rate of damage to the substrate of the blanket seedlings as the evaluation indicators,the single-factor test and the multi-factor orthogonal test were carried out on the rice floppy blanket seedling separator,Through single factor test,the change rule of each factor’s influence on the three indicators is obtained;Through the multi-factor orthogonal test and the comprehensive balance method,the orthogonal test results were optimized and analyzed.The results showed that the best combination of the orthogonal test was the separation speed of500mm/s,the holding clearance of the seedling support arm of the seedling support mechanism was 2.00 mm,and the included angle between the initial position of the separation claw of the separation mechanism and the conveying mechanism was 0 °.The field validation test was carried out,and the results showed that the average separation rate was 98.58%,the average damage rate of stem and leaf was 2.32%,and the average damage rate of substrate was 1.62%,which met the operation standard of agricultural machinery.
