Objective Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.,a Uighur medicine named "chunxiangcao".The main chemical components include flavonoids,volatile oil,phenylpropanoids,glycosides,phenolic acids,fatty acids,terpenes,sterols,etc.Modern pharmacological studies have proved that the total flavonoids and volatile oil of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.have antioxidant,vasodilation,myocardial ischemia protection,bacteriostasis,anti atherosclerosis,anti-inflammatory and analgesic,regulation of autophagy,cerebral protection of hemorrhagic shock,inhibit the contraction of duodenal smooth muscle,reduce blood pressure,antiinflammatory,antitussive,expectorant and analgesic effects,etc.The compound such as "Compound Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.Granule","Chunxiangcao Conger Tablet" and "Tianxiangdan" made from Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.can be used in clinic for anti atherosclerosis,treatment of deafness and turbid phlegm syndrome of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.The nanoparticles prepared from Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.have a wide range of applications.Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.’s material basis has not been fully studied.Therefore,a further systematic study of its chemical composition is necessary.This subject takes Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.as the research object,extracts,separates and identifies its components,in order to further enriches and expands the chemical components in it,and expected to provide some reference for the further rational development and utilization of the medicinal value of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam..The network pharmacology of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.against non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)was studied to make preliminary predictions.Methods This subject has systematically studied the chemical components of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.,and systematically separated them by means of Diaion HP-20 macroporous resin chromatography,silica gel,thin-layer chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatographies,recrystallization,and semi-preparative liquid chromatography.The monomer compounds were isolated,and spectroscopic analysis were used for identified structures,as well as comparisons with the data reported in the literature.The components of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.were obtained through the database of traditional Chinese medicine and chemical components of Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry and literature reading.The active components were screened according to the characteristics of drug absorption,distribution,metabolism and excretion(ADME)by SwissADME.The potential targets of active components were predicted by SwissTarget Prediction,and the targets of NSCLC were obtained by Gene Cards.The intersection of drugs and disease targets was taken,and the protein-protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed through STRING.The targets’"Gene Ontology(GO)" were enriched and analyzed by Metascape,and"Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)" were enriched and analyzed by the same way.Results Fifteen compounds were isolated from aqueous extract of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.,which were identified as acetovanillone(1),acetosyringone(2),3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxy-benzaldehyde(3),umbelliferone(4),phydroxyacetophenone(5),3-hydroxy-4-methoxycinnamic acid(6),isoscopoletin(7),3-hydroxy-4(8)-ene-p-menthane-3(9)-lactone(8),citrusin C(9),abscisic acid(10),rutin(11),gallic acid(12),adenosine(13),3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde(14),quercetin(15).The targets regulated by the main active components of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.intersected with the targets of NSCLC,resulting in 123 targets and 452 KEGG pathways.Conclusion Compound 2-4,6-10,12-14 were isolated,purified and identified from Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.for the first time,which enriched the chemical composition of it,and provided a certain reference for the further rational development and utilization of the medicinal value of it.The network pharmacological prediction results of Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam.against NSCLC show that it may have a certain activity.
