Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Slow-transit Constipation Of The Colon With Spleen And Kidney Yang Deficiency By Applying Shuchang Paste To Shenque Acupoin

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of shenque acupoint application by Shuchang ointment in treating STC(Slow transit constipation)and to explore its application value in treating STC.Methods: From February 2021 to December 2021,72 patients with colonic STC in anorectal Department of Yueyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.Were randomly divided into control group(n=36)and treatment group(n=36),Control group was treated with PST(Prucalopride Succinate Tables)while the treatment group was combined with shenque acupoint application by Shuchang ointment on the basis of treatment for control group.The scores of TCM symptoms、SCBM(Spontaneous complete bowel movement)of per week and PAC-QOL(Patient assessment of constipation quality of life questionnaire)scores and the clinical efficacy were compared before and after treatment between two groups.Results:1.The total symptom score in the first cycle after treatment was 10.21±1.98 in the treatment group and 10.43±2.28 in the control group.There was no statistical difference in the total symptom score in the first cycle between the two groups(P>0.05),so the effect of the treatment group was not better than that of the control group.After the second and third cycles of treatment,there was a statistical difference in the total symptom score between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment effect of Shuchang ointment filling Shenque point combined with PST was better than that of PST alone.2.After treatment,the symptom scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05)except defecation time and frequency;3.The proportion of SCBM per week increased in both groups after treatment,with statistically significant difference between the two groups.4.After treatment,PAC-QOL score of the two groups decreased(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The PAC-QOL score of the treatment group was significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.05).After three cycles of treatment,the differences of patients’ physiological,psychosocial,worry,satisfaction and total score in the treatment group before and after treatment increased compared with the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The total effective rate in the treatment group(91.9%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(86.6%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of Shuchang ointment combined with PST was better than that of PST alone.Conclusion: Shuchang ointment filling shenque point can improve the curative effect of STC,adjust the characteristics of stool,speed up the time of defecation,shorten the frequency of defecation and relieve the difficulty of defecation and the feeling of insufficiency,which is obviously better than the simple application of PST treatment.At the same time,psychological,physical,worry,satisfaction and other aspects of daily life quality also improved.
