| OBJECTIVE:Collected and organized medical records of ancient and modern doctors using classic formulas such as Chaihu to treat mental illness, construct a database, and use data mining methods to analyze the characteristics of Chaihu formulas in treating mental illness and the rules of drug addition and subtraction, providing a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of mental illness.METHODS:Using data mining technology, the ancient and modern medical records related to the treatment of mental health related diseases with classic formulas such as Chaihu in the ancient and modern medical record cloud platform were screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria for all medical records on the platform.Terminology was standardized and a structured database was established. Finally,SPSS Statistics 20 and SPSS Modeler were used to mine and analyze patient information, tongue, pulse, symptoms, and medication in the database,And interpret the results. Results:The database was mined for 79 ancient medical cases and 480 modern medical cases, totaling 559 cases,we found that, most of the people who was involve in psychiatric disorders is adult who was pressured in social, and the performance was heat certificate, and with qi problem. The main pathogenesis is Yang Qi stagnation and blockage, and the pivotal mechanism is unfavorable. The treatment is to penetrate Yang Qi,move Qi and disperse nodules.RESULT:1.Basic pathogenesis:The basic pathogenesis of Chaihu like formulas in treating mental diseases is mainly due to the unfavorable function of Shaoyang Danfu Cardinal and the disturbance of heat to the heart and mind; The basic symptoms include restlessness, insomnia, bitter mouth, restlessness, lack of appetite, dry mouth, chest and flank fullness, irritability, cold and hot intercourse,thirst,insomnia,etc.2.Prescription characteristics:Among the common symptoms, the mental symptoms include insomnia, poor mood, palpitations, irritability, etc;Other symptoms include dry mouth, bitter mouth, reduced appetite, and chest and flank fullness(1)Xiao Chaihu Tang:The tongue and pulse are mainly characterized by red tongue, thin and white fur,and thin pulse strings; The characteristic psychiatric symptoms include irritability, fatigue and fatigue, difficulty sleeping and waking up,hehe, and various nightmares;Other characteristic symptoms include dry stools, alternating cold and heat, dizziness, fever, nausea, headache, etc; The pathogenesis is indicative of deficiency, excess of pathogenic factors, unfavorable cardinal axis, and heat disturbing the mind.(2)Sini San:The tongue pulse is characterized by red tongue, thin white fur,and stringed pulse; The characteristic psychiatric symptoms include fatigue, irritability, restlessness, restlessness, and restlessness;Other characteristic symptoms include abnormal spleen and stomach function, such as dry stools, full abdominal distension, belching, constipation, etc.,as well as more severe symptoms of qi stagnation, such as good rest, lukewarm hands and feet, abnormal menstruation, headache, shortness of breath, etc.,and symptoms of dampness and heat injection, such as yellow urine, urgency in urination, astringency and pain in urination, and unfavorable urination. The pathogenesis suggests liver stagnation and spleen stagnation, unfavorable pivot mechanism,qi stagnation and blood stasis, and heat stasis that disturbs the mind.(3)Chaihu Plus Longgu Oyster soup:the tongue and pulse are mainly red tongue, white fur or yellow greasy fur,and the pulse is string; The characteristic psychiatric symptoms include irritability, diverse nightmares, anxiety, fear, shallow sleep, fatigue, and mania;Other characteristic symptoms:dizziness, headache, thirst induced drinking, spontaneous sweating, etc. The pathogenesis suggests external evil and internal depression,a mixture of deficiency and excess, unfavorable pivot, and stagnation of heat that disrupts the mind.(4)Chaihu Guizhi Tang:The tongue pulse is mainly characterized by a light red tongue, white fur,and stringed pulse; The characteristic psychiatric symptoms include restless nightmares, sadness and desire to cry,and anxiety;Other characteristic symptoms include feeling wind cold, such as aversion to wind cold, headache, sweating, joint pain, breast distension, belching, and general discomfort. The pathogenesis suggests that the cardinal axis is unfavorable, external pathogens are re affected, and the imbalance of qi,blood, yin, and yang disturbs the mind.(5)Dachaihu Tang:Tongue veins are mainly red and purple, with thick and greasy yellow fur and thin veins; The characteristic psychiatric symptoms include fear, delirium, sadness, and desire to cry;Other characteristic symptoms include obstruction of the internal organs and qi,such as dry stools, constipation, abdominal distension, and fatigue. The pathogenesis suggests that the pivot is not favorable, internal heat is accumulated, and the internal qi is blocked.(6)Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Tang:The tongue and pulse are mainly characterized by a plump or pale tongue, and a heavy pulse; The characteristic symptoms of mental state include running dolphin qi(qi rushing from the lower abdomen to the heart),irritability, etc;Other characteristic symptoms include edema, oliguria, thirst, and diarrhea. The pathogenesis suggests yang qi deficiency and decline, unfavorable pivot, internal cessation of water consumption, stagnation of heat that disturbs the mind,or water qi deficiency that disturbs the mind.3.Addition and of medication patterns:Ancient medical case:Xiaochaihu Tang was used to excavate commonly used addition medicinal pairs through cluster analysis:jujube and Huai wheat;Dragon bones, sour jujube kernels;Codonopsis pilosula and Astragalus membranaceus;Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala, and other medicine pairs.Modern medical cases records:(1)Xiaochaihu Tang:The main direction of addition medicine is to tonify, regulate qi,clear heat, promote blood circulation, and relieve external symptoms, exploring the drug pairs:gypsum and anemarrhena;Zhimu and Zhizi;Peony,Fructus Aurantii, and Rhubarb;Angelica sinensis,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Rehmannia glutinosa;Fu Shen,Mai Dong;Dragon bones, oysters, poria cocos;Fructus Aurantii and Turmeric;Yuanhu, turmeric, tangerine peel;Salvia miltiorrhiza and Angelica sinensis;White peony, sour jujube kernel;Keels,oysters,etc.(2)Sini Powder:The main direction of addition medication is to promote blood circulation, tonify, dissipate phlegm, relieve cough, relieve asthma, and clear heat.Explore the drug pairs:sour jujube kernels and acacia bark;Huai wheat and jujube;Poria cocos and Astragalus membranaceus;Atractylodes macrocephala and Codonopsis pilosula;Pinellia ternata and Rhizoma Cyperi;Danggui,Shengdi,Taoren,Honghua;Red peony and white peony;Atractylodes macrocephala,Atractylodes macrocephala,etc.(3)Chaihu Jialonggu Oyster soup:the main direction of addition is to invigorate, regulate qi,soothe the nerves, and activate blood circulation, and the drug pairs are:sour jujube kernel, albizzia bark;Fu Shen,Huangqi;Radix Polygalae,Radix Paeoniae Alba;Fructus Aurantii,Zhuru, tangerine peel,etc.(4)Chaihu Guizhi Tang:The main direction of the addition medicine is to calm the nerves, tonify, digest, promote blood circulation, and regulate qi.(5)Dachaihu Tang:The main directions of the addition medicine are regulating qi,resolving phlegm, relieving cough and asthma, tonifying, and promoting blood circulation.(6)Chai Hu Gui Zhi Gan Jiang Tang:The main direction of addition medicine is to promote dampness, tonify, and promote blood circulation.CONCLUSION:The basic pathogenesis of the classic formula of Chaihu is that the Shaoyang Danfu Cardinal Mechanism is disadvantageous. When the Cardinal Mechanism is disadvantageous and the disease develops,it will lead to the disorder of the "mind",resulting in mental illness. After adding or subtracting the classic formula of Chaihu,it can treat various internal, external, gynecological, and pediatric diseases.By regulating the qi mechanism, promoting the harmony of yin and yang, and regulating the "God’s Mansion",it can achieve the goal of "treating diseases at the root".The so-called ’but seeing one symptom is enough, there is no need to know the underlying cause’ refers to identifying the main pathogenesis and treating its contradictions,in order to achieve good therapeutic effects. |
