| Purposes:This paper retrospectively analyzed whether the use of giant thorn combined with muse needle could alleviate short-term joint swelling and pain after transankle arthroscopic treatment in patients with CAI,and to explore whether the use of Ju Ci with Miu Ci needle could shorten the length of hospital stay.Material and methods:The cases in this study were from February 2016 to February2023,and a total of 112 CAI patients underwent ankle arthroscopic modified Brostr(?)m surgery performed by Professor Tai Dongxu in the Part 2 Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine.According to the inclusion-exclusion criteria,59 cases that met the purpose of this study were screened, and were divided into observation group and control group according to whether giant thorn combined with muse needle method was used after ankle arthroscopy, the control group was32 patients who only underwent ankle arthroscopic modified Brostr(?)m surgery, and the observation group was 27 patients treated with Ju Ci with Miu Ci method 1 day after ankle arthroscopic modified Brostr(?)m surgery.According to the postoperative course records, the ankle swelling on the 1st,2nd,3rd,5th,and 7th postoperative days, the VAS score on the 7th postoperative day,the number of days from postoperative to discharge, and the AOFAS score on the 7th postoperative day were counted.Import SPSS 24 software for statistical analysis.Results:1 There were no statistical differences in the general data of the two groups, including sex, age, and distribution of affected limbs(P>0.05).2 There was no statistical difference in ankle swelling on days 1,2,3,5 and 7 after surgery between the two groups, and there were no significant differences in swelling on days 1,2,3and 5 after surgery(P>0.05),and there were significant differences in swelling on day 7 after surgery(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the 1st day after surgery and the 7th day after surgery(P<0.05).3 There was a statistically significant difference in VAS scores on postoperative day 7 between the two groups(P<0.05).4 There was no statistically significant difference in the number of days of hospital stay after surgery between the two groups(P>0.05).5 There was no statistically significant difference in AOFAS scores between the two groups(P>0.05).6.The degree of swelling on the 7th day after surgery was positively correlated with VAS score(r>0,P<0.05).Conclusion:1 The use of Ju Ci Acupuncture with Miu Ci Acupuncture can alleviate short-term joint swelling after transankle arthroscopic treatment in CAI patients;2 Ju Ci Acupuncture with Miu Ci Acupuncture can relieve postoperative pain in patients with CAI transankle arthroscopic treatment;3 The association between Ju Ci Acupuncture with Miu Ci Acupuncture and shortening the postoperative hospital stay of patients cannot be proved in this study, and this problem is not a single factor and needs to be explored in a bidirectional cohort study.4 Short-term swelling reduction after ankle arthroscopic surgery has clinical value for alleviating postoperative pain in patients. |
