Application And Practice On Jianshui Purple Pottery By Using "Point,Line And Surface" Planar Composition Elements

Jianshui purple pottery has a long history of development and is famous for its unique craft and rich decorative arts.It is one of the "four famous potteries in China".Influenced by the Han culture in the Central Plains,the decoration style of Jianshui purple pottery formed the aesthetic standard dominated by the traditional literati culture,that is,the main craft was "cutting blank and filling clay",and the main decoration theme was literati painting and calligraphy.Up to now,the research on Jianshui purple pottery has rich contents and remarkable achievements,and the production technology level has been significantly improved,but the design consciousness is still very weak.For quite a long time,Jianshui area took purple pottery as the carrier of painting completely,replacing the design with painting,and simply painting on one side of the pottery and writing on the other.Based on the adornment of contemporary aesthetic demand research is relatively rare,so using the flat surface of “point,line and surface” graphic elements to make Jianshui purple pottery decoration style become more diverse is especially necessary.The application practice of "point,line and surface" composition elements in Jianshui purple pottery decoration design refers to the creative thinking based on modernism design form and plane composition theory,taking point,line and plane and their combination as the main elements,which is suitable for the law of formal beauty.Its features are visual images with orderliness,harmonious and full of a sense of wholeness.Its value lies in breaking the traditional pattern of Jianshui purple pottery literati painting and calligraphy decoration and creating a new Jianshui purple pottery decoration language that is suitable for contemporary life aesthetics and contemporary aesthetic needs.Firstly,the author made field investigation and literature research on Jianshui purple pottery,and combed the development status of Jianshui purple pottery with the characteristics of "point,line and surface" composition elements in modern times.Secondly,through the analysis of plane composition theory,the author summarized the design and transformation ideas of the plane composition elements of "point,line and surface" of Jianshui Purple pottery,which are mainly presented from five aspects: composition elements,form rules,composition forms,color composition and texture composition.Then,using the method of combining theory with practice,the author carries on the theme creation practice on the basis of the plane composition elements of "point,line and surface".Finally,review and reflect on the results of innovation practice to form the main body of the article.Researching and practicing on Jianshui purple pottery decoration design by using "point,line and surface" plane elements,on the one hand,is in order to combine the contemporary art concept to create a new Jianshui purple pottery art language,and enrich the contemporary Jianshui purple pottery art style.On the other hand,it is of great practical significance to supplement the current research content of purple pottery decoration design and make up for the vacancy in modern design thinking of Jianshui purple pottery in the past.
