As the difficulty of performance increases and the performance requirements increase,it is particularly important to study the text of the works and learn how to practice them.In order to achieve this purpose,this article will take Waltz No.2 in A-Flat Major Op.34 No.1 as an example,from the background of work and the characteristics of this work in the Romanticism,analyzing this work,including:Musical structure analysis,harmony characteristic analysis and music characteristic analysis.Among them,the analysis of music characteristics will be discussed from three aspects: nationality,skill and salon,so as to obtain the theoretical knowledge framework of the works and make sufficient theoretical knowledge reserves for subsequent performances.In order to achieve the purest interpretation of the musical style of Chopin’s works in the concert.Secondly,three typical performance versions of the music are selected,that is,Dang Thai Son,Arthur Rubinstein and Krystian Zimerman.Comparing and analyzing the performance characteristics of each version through processing,timbre and velocity processing,and then sum up the processing method of performance in individual concerts.Every pianist has different state of playing,and they use a logical approach to outline their inner understanding of music.Listening to and studying different performance versions enriches the learner’s imagination of the music and increases the learner’s approaches to music.The author analyzes from the combination of the creative characteristics of this piece and the typical performance version.It is helpful for us to better understand Chopin’s music,comprehend the connotation of Chopin’s waltzes,feel the inner world of pianists,develop players’ ability to appreciate music,and realize the maximum interpretation of the works in concert.Taking this as an opportunity to organize and practice all aspects of knowledge deeply,combine theoretical analysis with analysis of typical performances improves the author’s understanding of professional knowledge,ability to analyze music and grasp of performance methods,and sort out the textual knowledge of works,explore the performance methods of the works,play an example role for the study of piano works,and lay a solid foundation for better performance of works.
