Female Nanyin Peers In The Inheritance And Dissemination Of Nanyin Culture And Their Promotion And Research

Quanzhou Nanyin,the ancient name for Xian Guan,came from sometime in ancient times and went around the world with the people of Minnan.In the course of its transmission and dissemination,different cultural connotations were embedded in different stages of history,and these accumulations have made Nanyin culture continue to glow with tenacious vitality.Over the centuries,female Nanyin peers have played an indispensable role in the continuation of Nanyin culture.Especially in modern times,when gender equality is advocated,the proportion of Female Nanyin peers is growing and has become an important force in the heritage of the Nanyin Pavilion or society.This paper takes the female Nanyin peers as an entry point and attempts to ’restore’ the historical aspect of women’s role in the transmission of Nanyin through the collation of data relating to women in history.From these ’static’ historical traces,the author seeks to return to ’live’ cases based on contemporary fieldwork,to describe and analyse the current situation of female Nanyin peers and female Nanyin pavilions,in order to explore the influence of female Nanyin peers in the transmission of Nanyin culture.At the same time,the author’s reflections and research will be used in the practice and study of Nanyin culture promotion,providing a new orientation for better promotion of Nanyin and contributing to the heritage and development of Nanyin culture.
