The Artistic Features And Singing Skills Of The Chinese Operaaria "to Follow My Beloved Ge Sang"

The Aria “To Follow My Beloved Ge Sang” is a famous aria in the Chinese opera “Qi Ming Xing”.The eastward migration and return of the turgots led by Wo Baxi was a great story in history during the reign of Emperor Qianlong from 1770 to 1771,and the Chinese opera “Qi Ming Xing” is the reproduction of this historical fact.The opera tells the story of the Tuerhute people who could not bear the oppression and ethnic destruction policies of the Tsarist Russia Yekaterina Dynasty in economic,cultural,military and other aspects.Under the leadership of the tribal leader Wo Baxi Khan,more than 200000 people moved eastward,experienced multiple hardships and difficulties,and finally returned home successfully.The Aria “To Follow My Beloved Ge Sang” is a famous aria of the heroine Azhu in this Chinese opera,and it is also the research object of this paper.This paper consists of three chapters,the first chapter of the article introduces the creation background,plot story and the theme expressed by the opera;The second chapter comprehensively analyzes the artistic characteristics of the aria “To Follow My Beloved Ge Sang” from the perspectives of musical form structure,melody and rhythm;The third chapter will summarize the experience and experience of singing this aria combined with personal singing practice.It is hoped that through the analysis of the aria,singers will have a deeper understanding of this aria.
