Mr.Cao Yu is the most outstanding master of drama in the history of modern Chinese literature."Wilderness" is his outstanding work, known as "Chinese opera comparable to world opera" in the real sense The opera "wilderness" was modified from Mr.Cao Yu’s play of the same name, written by Wan Fang(Cao Yu’s daughter)and composed by Mr.Jin Xiang. It is a landmark masterpiece in the history of Chinese opera development. It is the first Chinese opera to be moved to the world stage and has had a great impact. The full text focuses on the study and exploration of the Chinese national opera "wilderness",and takes the Aria "ah,my brother tiger" as an example to explore the music style and singing. The article is divided into three parts, starting with the background of the work, the analysis of the musical form of the work, how the singer uses the sound skills, the contrast and change of the sound strength, the rendering of the treble and the emotional expression of the characters, and how to use the sound and breath skills to more truly express the emotions of the characters. So that the singer can have a deeper interpretation of the works, and can more appropriately deduce the characters in the play when singing the works.Through the research preparation of this paper,it has laid a good foundation for my future study.
