The advancement of technology and the improvement of craftsmanship have given strong support to the production of hyper-realistic style pottery,and the beginning of modern pottery has created a favorable environment for the development of hyper-realistic style in the field of pottery.KIMIYO MISHIMA is a representative figure of Japanese hyper-realistic style pottery,whose works are derived from paper information and household garbage,etc.He is good at enlarging everyday objects and using ceramic materials to give the audience a visual impact.Taking Kimiyo Mishima as a typical example,the reasons for the formation of hyper-realistic style pottery and the characteristics of his works are analyzed.Through the study of Japanese art atmosphere and the influence brought by Pop Art,we will understand the reasons for the formation of hyper-realistic style pottery in Japan,and analyze other Japanese artists’ pottery creations of different material objects in hyper-realistic style,and study their creative thinking and production process.The reasons and process of the transformation of KIMIYOSHI MISHIMA’s creative thinking are analyzed in relation to his educational background and living environment.Specifically analyze the works of Kimiyo Mishima from painting to pottery,and study her creative purpose and creative techniques by comparing her works with those of other potters.Kimiyo Mishima’s works cannot be separated from the screen-printing technique,which is one of the major reasons why the hyper-realistic style has become popular in ceramics.
