The research is divided into three parts,combining literature collection,conceptual analysis,case research and comparative research,with the aim of revealing the aesthetic connotation of "Precipitious" in calligraphy.The first chapter of the paper starts from the six basic meanings of "Precipitious",traces the basic interpretations of "Precipitious" in ancient literature and dictionaries,and analyzes the deeper connotations of the word "Precipitious" in multiple layers.The word "precipitious" is also analyzed as "harsh","steep",and "dangerous",which are close to the word "precipitious".The meaning of the word "precipitious" is more comprehensively analyzed through the interpretation of the near meaning of the word "precipitious".Then we extract the element of "precipitious" from the painting theory and literary theory,which are more related to calligraphy,and analyze it,finally return to the use of "precipitious" in calligraphy theory,and summarize the aesthetic connotation and transmutation of "precipitious" in literary theory.The connotation and transmutation of "precipitious" in literary theory are summarized.The second chapter analyzes the aesthetic style of "precipitious" in calligraphic tasting from two levels: oracle bone and Wei tablet calligraphy and calligraphers of the past generations.The Wei steles have the artistic characteristic of "precipitious" due to factors such as writing style and production form,and the calligraphers of the past generations have presented the temperament of "precipitious" due to factors such as the "strong precipitious" of Ouyang Xun,the "argumentative precipitious" of Li Beihai,the "crisp precipitious" of Huang Tingjian,the "severe precipitious" of Huang Daozhou,the "abrupt precipitious" of Zhang Yuzhao,and the "strange precipitious" of Shen Zengzhi,etc.These calligraphers have presented the temperament of "precipitious" combined with their own spiritual temperament,which is unique and common.The third chapter summarizes and analyzes the causes of the artistic temperament of "Precipitious",which is closely related to the artist’s life situation,spirituality,and social experience,and refines the characteristics of brushwork,structure and chapter style that express "Precipitious",and summarizes and sublimates The calligraphic expression of "Precipitious" is summarized and sublimated.In short,"precipitious" has the connotation of danger and loftiness,which is projected into the calligrapher’s body as the insistence on freedom of personality,the courage to fight alone,the will to be independent and the spirit of defiance in the face of danger,and projected into the calligraphy as the sharp brushwork,the strange ending and the jumping chapter.
