As a famous poet in the early stage of Tang Dynasty,Xu Zheng’s poetry is known as the "poetic system of the late Tang Dynasty",and has an important position in the poetry creation of the late Tang Dynasty. This paper discusses Xu Hun’s corresponding characteristics in the above aspects from three aspects: scholar mentality, poetry creation and ideological research.Taking the "internal research" of literature as the main line,it summarizes the lofty, leisurely, gentle and honest poetic style brought by Xu Hun’s personality characteristics of "holding the middle";The intertwined identity consciousness of "Jiangnan talent" and "honest Confucianism" makes it not only have a certain degree of aesthetic transcendence at the level of "literary subjectivity",push the "human awakening" and "literary consciousness" from the Wei and Jin Dynasties to the depth with the characteristics of the times, but also show the transitional characteristics due to a slightly conservative position in politics. As an introduction, the first chapter discusses the writing origin of the article, the research status, research purpose, significance and so on.The second chapter macroscopically discusses the strong nostalgic and mourning mentality of the scholars in the late Tang Dynasty, the landscape seclusion mentality of being indifferent to the world, and the indifferent and detached mentality of worshiping Buddha and living in Zen.The third chapter focuses on Xu Hun’s poems about history and nostalgia. The state affairs of the late Tang Dynasty were getting worse and worse, which gave birth to a strong nostalgic and mourning mentality. In Xu Hun’s poems on history and nostalgia, many different emotional aspects were formed, such as realistic satire, longing for seclusion, sadness of moving away, sigh of rise and fall, among which the good fashion for incomplete beauty constituted a unique "fragment aesthetics".The fourth chapter focuses on Xu Hun’s landscape hermit poetry. The corruption of the imperial examination in the late Tang Dynasty made the scholars who entered into difficulties generally seek spiritual relief in the mountains and forests, and have a indifferent attitude to world affairs.Xu Hun’s landscape seclusion poetry can be seen frequently in all stages of his life, especially the "official Seclusion" poetry can best show the scholars’ unique view of official seclusion after the middle Tang Dynasty. The overall style is elegant, graceful and delicate, lingering desolation. The fifth chapter focuses on Xu Hun’s Buddhist Zen poetry. The chaos and turbulence of politics and thought provided an opportunity for Buddhism, especially Zen,to occupy an important position in the hearts of scholars. The devotion to Buddhism and Zen reflected the scholars’ introspective, peaceful and calm state of mind at this time.In Xu Hun’s Buddhist Zen poetry, there is not only the mystery of describing the clean life of the temple, but also the emotion of life pain and nothingness.Influenced by the psychology of Buddhism and Zen,Xu Hun shows a quiet and ethereal artistic conception in his secluded landscape poems, and presents a psychological space-time intertwined realm in his poems about history and nostalgia. The sixth chapter analyzes the two personality traits of Xu Hun as a "Scholar" and "Confucian",and discusses the important significance in the ideological history behind him.On the one hand,Xu Hun specialized in law style and had a talent atmosphere of elegance, which reflected the prominence of "literary subjectivity" at that time and the people’s attention to the cultural identity of "poet";On the other hand,Xu Hun is a "gentle and honest" Confucian who abides by the ethical norms of "harmony and beauty",which is the most typical in his political allegory poetry.Xu Hun’s political allegorical poems are different from the straightforward, mean and sharp poems of poets in the late Tang Dynasty, but take their own emotions as the core, sad and moving. From this,we can also see the "change" of scholar style and the "change" of people’s hearts from the early to the late Tang Dynasty. The seventh chapter is the conclusion, which summarizes the full text and puts forward the deficiencies. |
