Character Creation And Singing Analysis Of "Jiang Jie" In "People Of Five Continents Laugh Together

"Jiang Jie" is an opera based on the novel "Hong Yan" and is one of the representative operas embodying the spirit of the Chinese revolution.The main character "Jiang Sister" represents the resolute and unyielding spirit of Hong Mei,which runs through the whole opera,and her multiple images in the opera further promote the development of the plot and increase the dramatic conflict.In this paper,through the analysis of the characterization and singing of "Jiang Jie" in "The People of Five Continents Laugh Together",we find that voice and physical movements are the key to shaping the characterization of "Jiang Jie",while breath,bite and exhale as well as the grasp of operatic accent are the key to the characterization of "Jiang Jie".The core of the singing in "Jiang Jie" is the breath,the bite and the exhale,and the grasp of the operatic accent.Based on the analysis of image building and singing,and combined with the author’s own stage practice,I found that in order to create a good role in an opera,one needs to pay more attention to desk work,stage practice and thinking about the social value behind the work.This paper clarifies the background of the creation of the opera "Jiang Jie" through documentary research and inductive summary method,and then deeply analyzes the plot of the opera from different angles by deeply condensing the story outline according to the opera libretto.We have gained a more comprehensive understanding of the development of the plot and the character of "Jiang Jie".Through the analysis of the music itself,the most distinctive musical feature of the opera is the combination of the three-part style and the plate cadence.On the basis of the musical analysis,we found that the scientific use of breath,the standardized biting and spitting,and the operatic accent with local characteristics of Sichuan are the core of the singing of "People of Five Continents Laughing".Based on the study of the script and the analysis of music and singing,it is found that "Jiang Jie" has: a heroic revolutionary image,a warm mother image,and an independent female image.In the author’s singing practice,I found that in order to better shape the image of "Jiang Jie",first of all,we need to correctly grasp the singing method of combining folk and beauty,and secondly,in terms of body shaping,we need to correctly grasp the movement characteristics of "Jiang Jie" at different stages of life and different psychological activities.Secondly,in terms of body shaping,it is necessary to correctly grasp the movement characteristics of "Jiang Jie" at different life stages and different psychological activities.Through theoretical research and stage practice,I found that I gained a lot of experience in stage practice by participating in the opera "Jiang Jie",and these experiences are of practical guidance for the improvement of vocal skills.
