Research On Lefebvre's Theory Of Space Productio

Lefebvre’s theory of space production came into being in the 1970s of the 21st century.It analyzed modern social problems from the perspective of space.With the development of urbanization in China,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to carry out theoretical research on space production.Based on the texts of Space Production,Urban Revolution,Space and Politics,this paper reveals the crisis of capitalization of space production and analyzes the characteristics of historical materialism.At first,the paper reviews the main research contents and the context of space production theory.Secondly,the paper focuses on the relationship between space production and capital.On this basis,this paper discusses how capital achieves its goal of capital accumulation through space reproduction and the influence of space production mode on the development of human society.Finally,it analyzes the characteristics of historical materialism of Lefebvre’s space production theory,the limitations of space production theory and the contemporary enlightenment of space production.His thought is of great value and significance,but at the same time there are some deficiencies and limitations.Of course,the significance of Lefebvre’s spatial production theory in China’s current urbanization process cannot be denied.
