A Study On Adorno's "Anti-art

On the basis of understanding Hegel’s aesthetic theories such as the theory of the end of art,Adorno developed his own negative aesthetic theory,and the most special and important of which is his Anti-art view.Of course,this theory originated not only from the influence of Hegel’s thought,but also from Adorno’s own experience and understanding of artistic practice at that time.Therefore,Adorno proposed his Anti-art thought on the basis of integrating theoretical thinking and practical feelings.The most essential characteristics of this art are negativity,non identity,and social criticism.Therefore,modern art with these characteristics is the most supported by Adorno,and one of the examples is Baudelaire Flower of Evil and Kafka The Metamorphosis.Moreover,the most prominent feature of these works in terms of effectiveness is their redeeming effect,which is reflected in the fact that Anti-art not only has a redeeming effect on all fields related to art,such as artistic creation,artistic theory,and artistic criticism,but also saves a fetishistic society and a single aesthetic ideal supported by instrumental rationality.By comprehensively clarifying and analyzing the redeeming effect of Anti-art on art and society,we can further explore the significance and enlightenment of Anti-art in the present,namely,the trend towards aesthetic nominalism;Making aesthetic utopia tend to reality;Alienated life and aesthetic ideals;Promote the development of aesthetic education.
