| The large original national opera "Yimeng Mountain" was written by Wang Xiaoling and Li Wenxu,and composed by Luan Kai.It was premiered at Jinan Grand Theater in Shandong Province in the middle of December 2018.The play is set in the Yimeng Mountains during the war period when the military and the people united against the Japanese.and is based on the two real anti-Japanese war stories of "Daqingshan Breakthrough and Yuanziya Defense War".It vividly depicts the heroic image of Yimeng people who joined the army and sacrificed their lives to resist the Japanese invasion,and truly shows the huge sacrifice made by the people of Yimeng Mountain for the Chinese revolution.The aria "Heartless Wind and Rain" of the heroine "Begonia" is selected from the third act of the play.Based on the existing research findings,this paper analyses the opera in depth from the background of its creation,the characterisation of the female lead and the study of the musical composition,exploring the use of technical skills,the shaping of the character and the expression of emotions in the opera,tracing the positive significance of the opera in promoting the excellent Chinese traditional culture and experiencing the everlasting spirit of Yimeng--The opera also explores the significance of the opera for the promotion of traditional Chinese culture,and for the appreciation of the eternal spirit of Yimeng-the great spirit of the Yimeng army and people who shared life and death in the face of Japanese invasion.In turn,it will provide some reference for singers and teachers.This article is divided into three chapters: The first chapter briefly describes the creation background and plot development of the opera Yimeng Mountain;The second chapter analyzes the aria "Heartless Wind and Rain" from three aspects: the image of the heroine,the aria scene and the music;The third chapter analyzes the aria from the aspects of singing skills,emotional expression,and the contrast of chorus to music emotion. |
