| The ancient East Asian world has long been in the "Integration" pattern centered on the Central Plain dynasty. In the sixth century,Gaogouli,Baekje and Silla stood side by side on the Korean Peninsula, which was still politically divided. In the south,Wa stepped in and tried to take advantage of the situation to expand abroad. After the fall of the Western Jin dynasty,Central Plain entered a period of more than two hundred and eighty years of division between the north and the south. After the unification of Central Plain in the Sui dynasty, with the implementation of the strategy of conquering Gaogouli as the core of the Korean Peninsula, the changes of the relations between the regimes in Dongyi had a chain reaction, which further affected the formation of the pattern of East Asia in later ages.Based on the historical background of the concept of "Great Unification",this paper focuses on the formation of the Sui’s Korean Peninsula Strategy and the East Asian world, and then analyzes its impact on the East Asian pattern.Specifically, the article is divided into five parts. The introduction part introduces the background and significance of the topic, mainly Combs and analyzes the current domestic and foreign research situation of the Sui’s Korean Peninsula Strategy, explains the key points and difficulties of the thesis, and clarifies the innovation of the article and the research methods. The first chapter summarizes the pattern of East Asia from the fourth to the seventh century and the formation and practice of the idea of"Great Unity" in Sui Dynasty. In the process of competing for hegemony, the regimes on the Korean peninsula formed the situation of Gaogouli,Baekje and Silla in the middle of the sixth century.Wa regime covet the Korean Peninsula and even the whole ancient East Asian world.Under the influence of the East Asian pattern, the Sui dynasty’s concept of unity quickly moved from thought to practice. The second chapter discusses the formation background, strategic change, practice process and short-term influence of Sui Korean Peninsula Strategy. In the practice of the unified strategy of the Sui dynasty,Gaogouli gradually became the main target of the Sui dynasty, and formed the specific strategy of the Korean peninsula. In the process of the Korean peninsula’s transition from reconciliation to war, four wars broke out between the Sui and Gaogouli. The impact of the war between the Sui and Gaogouli spread throughout the ancient East Asian world, directly changing the historical development of the regimes in Dongyi. The third chapter discusses the Sui’s Korean Peninsula Strategy on the East Asian pattern of the impact. From a long-term perspective, the Sui dynasty’s Korean peninsula slightly changed the pattern of ancient East Asia. After the Tang dynasty inherited the Sui dynasty’s strategy of conquering the Korean peninsula,it allied forces with Silla to defeat Baekje, the Japanese and Gaogouli. The victory of Tang’s alliance with Silla not only curbed Japanese expansion but also Accelerated Silla’s reunification of the southern Korean peninsula, leading to a new East Asian Order of Tang,Silla and Japan. The formation of the new East Asian pattern was due to the implementation of the Sui’s Korean Peninsula Strategy and the intensification of the conflict between the Sui and Gaogouli. The underlying logic is that the Central Plain dynasty, which re-established regional order under the concept of "Grand Unification",is at odds with the Dongyi regime, which is seeking greater room for survival and development. |
