Study On The Decorative Modeling Language Of Klimt

This paper takes the combination of realistic and decorative modeling language in Klimt’s oil paintings as the research direction,and aims to elaborate on personal thoughts in the creative process from several aspects,such as the relationship between realistic and decorative modeling in oil paintings,the characteristics and expressions of Klimt’s modeling language,and the exploration of the breakthrough of modeling language in expressions in the creative practice,which leads to the perception of the aesthetic value of his modeling language.Following this line of research,the research content of this paper will be developed in the following aspects.Firstly,through the analysis of the concepts of realistic and decorative forms,this paper explores the relationship between them in oil paintings to gain a deeper understanding of the uniqueness of Klimt’s modeling language.Secondly,it traces the formation process of Klimt’s stylistic style and analyzes the specific expression of his stylistic language.The focus of this paper is on how realistic and decorative languages are reflected in Klimt’s works on figures,and how they are perfectly integrated in the same picture.Finally,in my creative practice,I try to implant Klimt’s combination of realistic and decorative stylistic techniques into my own figure paintings,and at the same time provoke myself to think about the aesthetic value of various stylistic vocabularies such as symbolic and decorative.It has been my creative goal to integrate flat and decorative elements into my works without adhering to the traditional three-dimensional realistic figure painting creation mode.The primary purpose of this research is to draw nutrients while fully studying Klimt’s modeling language,and to make my works as personalized and diversified as possible in terms of formal language expression,while injecting more spiritual values and humanistic concerns in my creative practice.
