In the process of learning a foreign language, the mastery and use of vocabulary account for a large proportion.Vocabulary learning is an important part of foreign language learners. In particular, when the contacted vocabulary is polysemy, because polysemy usually has two or more extended meanings, and according to the context of the article, polysemy is easy to change in meaning, which is difficult to master. Therefore,in the process of learning and using polysemy, learners will encounter great difficulties.Korea and China have historically had a close relationship. Therefore, the humanistic concepts of the two countries are similar. However,Korean and Chinese have different language types, and there are differences in language understanding and use. Therefore,Chinese Korean language learners sometimes cannot correctly understand the meaning expansion of polysemous words when they learn Korean,so it is very necessary to study the refinement of polysemous words.Based on the perspective of cognitive linguistics, this research compares and analyzes the Korean "(?)" and the Chinese "解".After the dictionary meaning is selected, use cases are added to find out the cognition of the prototype meaning and expansion meaning of Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解".The process of meaning is also very important. Therefore, this study will analyze the archetypal and expanded meanings of Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解",and then explain the expansion process. On this basis,a comparative analysis of the two is carried out,and the cognitive commonalities and differences between Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解" are grasped through the comparative analysis of cognitive meaning.According to the comparative study of the cognitive meanings of Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解",the following similarities and differences can be drawn. From the perspective of prototype meaning, there are three things in common.First, the Korean "(?)" and the Chinese "解" are both hand-related movements.Second, the two parts that these two verbs connect respectively are concrete.Third, the actions of Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解" both take place within the entity itself. The difference is that the meanings represented by the prototype meanings of the two are different from each other. The prototype meaning of "(?)" in Korean is "disappearance of bondage",and the prototype meaning of "解" in Chinese is "separation".From the perspective of expanded meaning, the common point is that the two parts connected by the Korean "(?)" and the Chinese "解" can be divided into three types: both parts are concrete;one of them is concrete, and the other is abstract; Both parts are abstract. There are two differences, one is that the expansion meanings are different due to the expansion from different archetypal meanings. The second is the difference in cognition of similar expansion meanings. From the perspective of the expansion process, there are three things in common.First, the two parts connected by the Korean "(?)" and the Chinese "解" expand from the concrete to the abstract.Second, the two parts where the action of Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解" take place are expanded from taking place in themselves to taking place in two different objects.Third, the expansion trend of Korean "(?)" and Chinese "解" has something in common. Both can go from "concrete to abstract","human to non-biological","physical to social to abstract","universal to metaphorical to idiomatic".The difference between the expansion process is that the expansion process of the cognitive meaning of Korean "(?)" is more detailed than that of Chinese "解".Through these studies,we can understand how Koreans recognize the Korean polysemous verb "(?) ",and also understand how the Chinese polysemous verb "解" with similar meanings is recognized by the Chinese.Because language can reflect thinking,by analyzing polysemy words with similar meanings in Korea and China,it is also possible to understand the corresponding language thinking of the two countries. This research will be helpful for Korean and Chinese language learners in learning the Korean and Chinese polysemous verbs "(?)" and "解",and this research can also point out the direction for future research on polysemous word cognition and corresponding vocabulary.
