In recent years,the terms "immersive sound","3D audio",and "spatial audio" have often come to mind,but in fact these terms are a generic term for immersive sound technology.In fact,these terms are a collective term for immersive sound technologies.This paper discusses the characteristics and development of immersive sound technology,and analyzes its application in film and its impact on the industry and audio workers.First,the paper compares the similarities and differences between immersive sound technology and other digital audio technologies such as stereo and surround sound.Next,the advantages and disadvantages of channel-based audio,object audio,scene audio,and binaural audio are discussed.Next,the application of immersive sound technology in the movies Gravity,Dune,and Anita Mui is introduced with Dolby Atmos as an example.Finally,the impact of immersive sound technology on the audio industry and audio workers is analyzed.Currently immersive audio technology has been applied in film,television,video games,music,virtual reality(VR),augmented reality(AR),communication,medical and other fields.With the development and popularity of immersive sound,it has brought numerous positive impacts to the entire audio industry and has put forward new requirements for all audio workers. |
