Research On Translation Of Chinese Language And Tibetan Langauge Sports Terms

Translation,as one of the ways of cross-language and cross-cultural communication,plays an important role in promoting the communication and development of human society.As human society enters the digital age,the emergence of many new things,lifestyle and expression demands have led to the emergence of a large number of new words,which makes the translation cause face great opportunities and challenges.Chinese language-Tibetan language translation cause has followed the pace of the times,seized the opportunity,and presented high-quality translation and research results for the development of ethnic science and culture.But there are also some problems such as uneven research level and scattered results.In view of the relatively weak research status of sports terminology translation,the author collects and reads relevant documents and materials,and uses comparative,statistical and transdisciplinary research methods,make use of Translation,terminology,lexicography and other research theories make a detailed inquiry into the general sports terms,ball games,track and field in this field,so as to make a modest contribution to the development of Sino-Tibetan translation.in the light of that this paper has four chapters besides the introduction and conclusion,as follows:The first chapter is divided into two sections,outlining the history of sports development in Han and Tibetan,and analyzing the concepts of sports culture and terms in different ethnic groups and different periods.This paper focuses on the evolution of Tibetan traditional sports and the time,reasons and ways of introducing modern sports.The second chapter,starting from modern sports,divides sports terms into general sports terms,ball terms,track and field terms and other sports terms,and explains in detail the characteristics of application,demand,professionalism and ethnicity of Chinese language and Tibetan language sports terms through specific analysis of specific problems.Chapter three analyzes the translation phenomena in Chinese language - Tibetan language dictionaries with the help of lexicography and terminology,and makes a comparative analysis of the Grand Chinese language - Tibetan language Dictionary,the Illustrated Dictionary of Common New Words in Chinese language,Tibetan language and English,and the Compilation of Chinese language - Tibetan language Comparative Sports Words,and then puts forward a reasonable choice.In the second section,based on the three translation principles in Volume Two of Yuhe,the author systematically discusses the common problems and shortcomings in the translation of sports terms between Chinese language and Tibetan language.This paper attempts to discuss sports terms and their translation from the perspective of foreign translation theories,for example,using domestication and foreignization,deep translation and other theories to discuss the translation of Chinese language and Tibetan language sports terms.Chapter four,aiming at the problems of few sports terms translation between Chinese language and Tibetan language new words,the problems of disunity and non-standardization,the author expounds the urgency and necessity of translation and standardization of sports terms between Chinese language and Tibetan language through case studies of some vivid cases.
