A Study On The Social Function Of Array Dance In Zhouqu,Gansu

The array dance spread in Zhouqu area of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province is a kind of traditional folk custom for the purpose of praying for blessing and worshiping God,and it is a large-scale original ecological collective activity integrating dance,singing and lyrics.This paper takes the array dance as the object of study,and uses the methods of literature research,fieldwork and case study to explore the origin,development,performance form and social function of the array dance.This paper attempts to explore the relationship between the development of folk dance and the change of social function,presents the traditional social function and contemporary social function of array dance respectively,and deeply analyzes the fundamental reasons for the change of its function.at the same time,it analyzes the modern significance of the social function of array dance in the contemporary era.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part contains the purpose and significance,methods and theories,key points and difficulties,innovation and shortcomings of the article.The text consists of three chapters.The first chapter puts the array dance in the specific time and space field of "Chaoshui Festival",and discusses the basic movements,field picture changes,costumes and props,lyrics and so on.The second chapter is the focus of this topic.the author probes into the development and evolution of the social function of Zhouqu array dance.through the multi-dimensional analysis of the traditional social function of the array dance,the transformation of the social function and the reasons for the transformation of the social function of the array dance,this paper explores the development and evolution of the social function of the array dance from the diachronic and synchronic angles.In the third chapter,the author analyzes the modern significance of the social function of array dance,as well as its economic,cultural and educational significance to the whole social system.Based on the contents of these three chapters,it is concluded that the evolution and development of the social function of array dance is closely related to the field of survival,and is influenced by many factors,such as economy,culture,politics and natural ecology.
