Research On The Application Of Turpan Tang Dynasty Figurines Modeling Elements In Role Design

The Tang Dynasty figurines unearthed in Turpan are valuable sculptures that have been handed down to the present in Xinjiang.They integrate painted painting,pottery,sculpture and costume modeling.They are the common pursuit of sculpture art modeling beauty,color beauty and cultural beauty by ancient Western culture and Central Plains civilization.It reflects the unique aesthetic direction,aesthetic characteristics and artistic pursuit of Turpan in the context of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.Introducing the costume modeling,color,pattern and expression of Turpan figurines into the role design can not only respond to the national policy to promote the characteristic culture,make the material heritage digital and two-dimensional,but also expand new ideas for the content development of domestic animation,games and illustrations,and enrich the artistic expression of role design.This paper takes the figurines unearthed from Astana tombs in Turpan area of Xinjiang as the main research content.Through on-the-spot investigation,data analysis,design practice and other methods,combined with the influence of western culture on the color,pattern and shape of the costumes in the Tang Dynasty,the overall modeling style and detailed characteristics of the figurines are further analyzed,which provides an excellent source of inspiration for animation character design.Taking the modeling elements of the figurines as the starting point,combines the patterns unearthed from the Astana tomb and the clothing structure and color application preferences of the female donors of the Dunhuang murals in the same period,considers the design style of the animated characters and the current mainstream aesthetics,and completes the artistic design of the animated characters.The methods of color selection and modeling design are analyzed and summarized.Through the disassembly and combing of the elements of the figurines,the transformation thinking of the animation design of cultural heritage is put forward.The combination of digital animation and cultural heritage modeling features provides ideas and directions for the future design of cultural relics in animation design or derivative design.
