The formation of the artistic language of landscape painting on the theme of the Yang Taiyang’s Lijiang River painting was at a time of crisis in Chinese painting,and in the face of the difficult problem of denying the value of traditional painting brought about by the depression of Chinese painting,he made a sonorous and forceful answer,strengthening the development of Guangxi art with "local consciousness",and exerting a major impact on the Guangxi art world.Since the sixties,he has sketched on the Lijiang River many times,with the landscape of the Lijiang River as the main object of expression,and its artistic language has unique personal characteristics,highlighting the local consciousness and traditional culture of the ethnic group.This paper takes nearly 300 landscape paintings on the theme of the Lijiang River created by Yang Taiyang as a clue,and conducts an in-depth study of the artistic language of landscape paintings on the theme of the Lijiang River of the Yang Taiyang.The main research content of this paper is as follows: the first part,through the summary of the process of landscape painting on the theme of the Lijiang River,the artistic activities presented by the Yang Taiyang under the discussion of landscape and landscape painting language and personal "artistic will";The second part,the evolution and characteristic analysis of the artistic language of landscape painting on the theme of the Yang Taiyang and Lijiang River,enters the artistic language of life drawing and creation with its unique Chinese and Western artistic language,and finally combines the characteristics of the times to re-create.According to the process of transformation,three artistic characteristics are analyzed,namely,"fine brush outline,elegant and fresh,block surface composition,loose and simple,breaking the ink realm,simple and clear;In the third part,the inner cultural connotation of the artistic language of landscape painting on the theme of Yang Taiyang and Lijiang River is analyzed,based on its vivid and vigorous pen and ink language,which is more inclined to the spirit of interest,and at the same time discusses the quality of personal poetry and painting and the sketching concept of local culture.The fourth part discusses the inheritance and innovation of the artistic language of landscape painting on the theme of the Yang Taiyang and the Lijiang River,and the development of the "Lijiang River School",revealing new languages and forms different from traditional brush and ink.At present,in the research of landscape painting works on the theme of Yang Taiyang and Lijiang River,more analysis is based on watercolor and oil painting modernist painting style.In view of the uniqueness of Yang Taiyang’s Lijiang River artistic language,a detailed and systematic theoretical study of his Lijiang River landscape painting is carried out.This paper focuses on fieldwork,collating interview data of people related to Yang Taiyang,and conducting relatively clear outline through comprehensive analysis methods,summarizing the characteristics of the artistic language of landscape painting on the theme of Yang Taiyang and Lijiang River,so as to illustrate the profound connotation of his Lijiang River theme landscape painting creation concept and aesthetic thought.
