Research On Community Pet Boarding Service And Product Design Under Sharing Economy

The sharing economy plays an important role in maximizing the use of social resources.With the development of the sharing economy,people’s consumption views are gradually changing and their requirements for service quality are getting higher and higher.In recent years,the number of domestic pet owners is increasing,the pet market is becoming more prosperous,and the pet-owning population is getting younger.Young people have a certain degree of uncertainty in their work and life,and the frequency of short-term trips such as business trips is relatively high,which brings about an increasing demand for pet boarding services.Traditional pet boarding services are simple and pet-friendly,and cannot meet the convenience,emotion and safety needs of today’s young people.This article starts from the background of the sharing economy and uses service design as a conceptual guide to form a set of service models applicable to community pet boarding services,connecting pet owners and pet lovers in the community,making full use of the community’s human resources while increasing the communication between neighbors and achieving a balanced relationship of human-pet-society harmony and unity.The article investigates and analyzes pet boarding service cases in the existing market,identifies potential opportunities based on an in-depth understanding of the service model of existing pet boarding service platforms,and then conducts research and interview analysis to build a user portrait of community pet boarding service and understand the user needs and pain points.Secondly,we analyzed and summarized the target users,relevant stakeholders,service process and contact points in the service process of community pet boarding service under the sharing economy according to the methodological strategy of service design,and constructed a service blueprint of community pet boarding service.In order to better meet the user needs,pet boarding products are designed for community scenarios,combined with the preliminary research and analysis,and the paper proposes design concepts such as disinfection module of the killing lamp,intelligent pet health monitoring,upper and lower detachable pet bin and cat litter box.Finally,the design practice of community pet boarding and products under the sharing economy is carried out based on the service design concept and previous theories,and the product and software design of pet boarding service and service supporting facilities is completed.
