A Study Of Geometric Shapes In Painting

Geometric shapes are indispensable in the historical development of painting,opening up a broad path for art,sketching out another dimension of the world,and being used by more and more artists.In the ceaseless exploration of new forms of artistic expression,geometric shapes,as a painting language,play a role in fuelling the flames.At the end of the 19 th century and the beginning of the 20 th century,Kazimir Severinovich Malevich of Russia was one of the internationally renowned avant-garde artists.During his years of artistic career,his geometric painting abandoned the description of natural things and traditional views,and has been committed to establishing the connection between artistic creation and the author,seeking the independent response of consciousness and subconscious,His constant exploration of the meaning and value of geometric shapes has also formed his unique and pioneering painting language.The geometric shapes in Malevich’s works have been given a new meaning through his ideas and spirit,which is of great significance to the development of contemporary painting.This also illustrates the progress of painting with the times and the improvement of people’s aesthetics from another perspective.This article analyzes the geometric shapes in painting from the works of Kazimir Severinovich Malevich.This article starts from the introduction section,first explaining and analyzing the concept of geometric shapes,in order to better study the geometric shapes in Malevich’s works,and combining with Malevich’s life brief to summarize the geometric shapes in the artist’s periodic works.Then,by analyzing the representations in Malevich’s works,we explore the artist’s creative journey,And with the help of literature analysis and image analysis methods,explore the spiritual connotations contained in the geometric shapes in Malevich’s works.Finally,use all the above analysis combined with my own artistic creation to explore the inspiration and influence of the geometric shapes in Malevich’s paintings on my own practical creation.
