Research And Practice On The Interest Of Brush And Ink In Shen Zhou’s Landscape Paintings

Shen Zhou plays a pivotal role in the history of Chinese landscape painting.His brushwork style infiuenced the development of future generations of landscape painting,especially the change of brushwork language from ’fine to thick’,which interprets the sublimation of his painting concept.As a leader of the Wu Men School of painting in the Ming Dynasty,he is unique in painting ideas and plays an indispensable role in the reference and inheritance of later generations.This paper expounds the formation of Shen Zhou’s painting language and brushwork style,the evolution of brushwork techniques,and the influence of the use of brushwork in Shen Zhou’s landscape painting on his creation from three aspects: his humanistic life,his education and the background of The Times.Combining theory with practice,Shen Zhou’s painting theory will play a leading role in artistic creation.It can be realized that there is a certain theory behind every picture to support,so as to realize the unity of pen and ink techniques and nature.
