Research On The Application Of Interactive Design In Paper-Based Adult Picture Books

As the pace of society continues to accelerate,people’s work and life is also undergoing great changes,and the fast-paced life makes contemporary adults feel quite stressed.The application of smart devices seems to bring people closer to each other from the surface,but in fact it brings a sense of isolation from the real world.People desperately need a way to release stress and feel connected to the real world.Based on this background,more demands are placed on the design of paper-based adult picture books.China’s adult picture book market has developed rapidly in recent years,but due to the impact of new media communication methods,the disadvantages of paperbased adult picture books have become apparent,and how to add a sense of experience and interactivity has become an important issue.In this paper,we consider the design innovation of paper adult picture books based on the situation of adult picture books,and explore the interactive and emotional creation method with the theme of ‘appearance anxiety’.First,we examine the domestic and international literature on paper-based adult picture books and interactive design.Secondly,we define the concept of paperbased adult picture books and analyze relevant cases using case studies,and analyze the use and characteristics of interactive design in various types of paper media and picture books.From there,the creative design practice is carried out,and the story script,binding method and visual style of the paper-based interactive adult picture book "Written on the Body" are gradually constructed;at the same time,the design of various interactive elements is carried out from three levels of emotional design to bring readers into the main position.Finally,the research experience is summarized to provide new directions and possibilities for the future development of paper-based adult picture books.Through this creative practice,the author hopes to deliver warm emotional care,which can make people in a hurry stop and care for their bodies and inner world again.
