With the rapid growth of the global music industry in recent years,music festivals have evolved from small gatherings to branded events to expand their reach and capture more market opportunities.Brand design can help music festivals shape their unique image and cultural symbols,increase brand awareness and recognition,and help brands establish a strong emotional connection with target audiences,increasing audience participation and loyalty.Therefore,brand design plays an important role in music festivals.The role of the festival is getting more and more attention.Although the application and research of brand design are very mature,the social background of the new era and new consumers also put forward new requirements for brand design.Geometric figures are one of the most important expressions of human abstract thinking.Geometric figures are widely used in today’s brand design because of their abstract simplicity,rich connotations,simplicity and easy-to-understand characteristics.This article aims to explore the application rules of geometric figures in brand design,focusing on the brand design of music festivals,and applying the research conclusions of geometric figures to the brand practice "Galaxy Music Festival Brand Image Design".The article first introduces the concept of geometric figures,brand design,music festival,and the necessity and feasibility of branding music festivals;then analyzes the specific application of geometric figures in various brand designs,and summarizes the role of geometric figures in brand design Design principles,graphic selection,graphic arrangement,color application,etc.;in terms of theory,we refer to Kandinsky’s synaesthesia view of sound and picture,Eaton’s color theory,etc.,and then determine the brand positioning and concept by analyzing the data results of the survey questionnaire.The analysis results are used as the theoretical basis for case practice and brand design;finally,the application trend and prospect of geometric figures in brand design are summarized,which also provides new design ideas for the practice of music festival brand design.
